At Otter Guitars, we understand that sometimes you just need your guitars repaired or tuned up - we can dial-in your instrument precisely to your particular playing style.

Here is a partial list of the services we offer.

  • Complete Setup - Acoustic Guitar, Bass, Electric Guitar, Locking Tremolo Guitar, 12 String Guitar, Resonator Guitar
  • Fret Dressing - all or partial 
  • Nut Work - adjust or replace nut 
  • Re-Fret - all or partial
  • Saddle Work - adjust or replace saddle
  • Install Tuning Machines - Retro Fit,  Different Style (Includes Filling Screw Holes and Minimum Touch-Up)
  • Bass Guitar Work - Fretless conversion
  • Structural Repairs - De-bulge acoustic belly, top and back cracks, re-glue loose braces, re-glue pickguard
  • Bridge Work - Re-fit acoustic bridge (with or without pick-up)
  • Wiring - Pickup installation, grounding issues, pickup potting, general troubleshooting 
  • Refinishing - Clear lacquer touch-ups, complete finish removal/sand, oil refinishing, oil touch-ups
  • Electric Left-Handed Conversion - new custom nut, re-adjust bridge, position dots (Up to body joint only)
  • Specialty Items - Replacing bolt-on style necks, guitar kit assembly/work, custom routing, custom pickguard, custom truss rod cover

Free consultation with appointment.                                                                                         Job cost is quoted when I've got it on my workbench. With major repairs or wonky setup jobs, I need to see what I'm working with first in order to fairly estimate the price.
